USB Starter kit for 8-way ATE AVR Programmer
ATE (Automated Test Equipment) version of our popular Kanda 8-way Handheld AVR Programmer with USB PC interface and software. Load the 8-way Handheld AVR Programmer from a PC using the USB PC interface and the simple software and then you do not need PC again. Up to 8 different programs with different PIC microcontroller targets and settings can be loaded into the programmer.
Once it is loaded, the PC is no longer required. It has been fitted with a 6-way pin header socket for connection to ATE systems. These lines are
- GND
- 3 Slot Select lines, for the 8 different slots
- PROGRAM to start programming
- STATUS to determine pass or fail
The connector is a 6-way 3x2 pin header socket, 0.1" (2.54mm) pitch.

If you do not want to use the internal 9V PP3 battery, the power supply required is 9V with a 2.5mm Barrel connector, centre positive. These are available on the shop.
